ABOUT TEAM MOLO

Our team is based on Vancouver Island, BC. We joined forces in 2008 with a shared belief in the power of psychedelics and alternative forms of medicine. As individuals who have personally experienced the benefits of psychedelic and plant-based medicines, we are passionate about sharing our knowledge and experiences through MOLO. We are advocates for the social and cultural acceptance of psychedelics, as well as their legal and medical legitimacy.

Our belief in accessibility extends beyond traditional pharmaceutical prescriptions and psychological practices. We strive to offer alternative forms of medicine to those in need. We also encourage individuals to question the current structure of our health systems and to explore their own consciousness, empowering them to take control of their own healing journeys.

Many brands talk about cultivating and maintaining a community to build loyal consumers, but that’s not our primary focus. In the world of psychedelics, we have found strong community bonds. Those who believe in the power of psychedelics and have experienced it themselves are often open-minded and open-hearted. They are bonded by their shared experiences of vulnerability, personal growth, and self-love. The positive energy we’ve received from this community is indescribable.

This community is what brought us together and inspired us to start MOLO. We want to give back to and immerse ourselves within the community. We hope to honor and expand our group by sharing the powerful thinking, practices, and tools we have discovered and will continue to discover. We aim to make an impact for those who may not yet have experienced the beauty of this community. We are committed to working hard to achieve these goals and appreciate your support on this journey.

MOLO strongly believes in the freedom of thought and the right to change one’s own consciousness, which is why we advocate for the power of plant medicine. To encourage individuals to take control of their own mental health by growing their relationship with their mind and body, and becoming their own guides. Although this approach may seem unconventional, we at MOLO believe that everyone has an innate ability to heal themselves, and want to empower individuals to connect with that ability. MOLO does not advocate for individuals to go against medical advice, and act as guides themselves, but rather encourage individuals to take control of their own healing.

Our goal at MOLO is to be intentional and deliberate in every decision we make, from start to finish. We are committed to recognizing our own biases, blind spots, and privileges in all aspects of the decision-making process. We pledge to act with love and integrity, even when it requires taking a difficult path.

We also understand that there is always room for improvement and growth, and we are dedicated to ongoing learning and refinement. If you have suggestions for how we can do better, we welcome your feedback and support. We value your input and what you bring to the table.

What Inspires Us

Our entire process is guided by moral principles. We prioritize environmental and social sustainability and never compromise. We recognize that there is always room for improvement and remain dedicated to making meaningful progress over time.

At MOLO, we prioritize sustainability in all aspects of our business. Our products are only sourced and produced in a sustainable manner within Canada, and this is an essential aspect of our operations that we do not compromise on. Each member of our team values ethical and sustainable business practices based on their own beliefs and experiences. We understand the difference between good and bad business practices, and are committed to being a force for good through MOLO’s exclusive focus on sustainability.

MOLO makes use of packaging and shipping materials that are either biodegradable or recyclable, in line with our commitment to sustainability. We are dedicated to supporting Canadian businesses and suppliers, and contributing to the betterment of our community. We collaborate exclusively with individuals who share our values and are conscious of their environmental and cultural impact. Continuous improvement is a priority for us, and we strive to make a positive difference every step of the way.

We believe that diversity and inclusivity are fundamental requirements at this critical point in time. Throughout our history, MOLO has always operated with a foundation of love and empathy. Our small team understands the importance of our actions and their impact on the world. We are committed to taking care of ourselves so that we can take care of others, and this remains a guiding principle for us.

Our team is committed to promoting equity for various marginalized groups, including queer and trans individuals, immigrants, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour. We have also faced our own struggles with mental health and addiction and are open about these experiences to provide insight into our perspectives and approach. We do not seek to use our experiences to tokenize ourselves or claim to fully understand the experiences of others, but rather to offer a glimpse into who we are as a team and the empathetic mindset we bring to our work.

We believe that fostering a sense of inclusivity and safety within a community can facilitate meaningful connections and personal growth. Our own experiences with psychedelics have been transformative and have played a crucial role in our ongoing personal journeys. This is why we are dedicated to redefining the potential of psychedelics and their power to positively impact individuals and communities.

Our aim at MOLO is to make our products available to anyone who can benefit from them. We always keep affordability in mind when pricing our products, as we believe that to fully realize the potential of psychedelics, they must be accessible to all who seek their healing properties.
